Some would say quite apt..lol. I've dug into the Chemical Brothers sound sample bag and re-worked, re-mixed and re-appeared with a funky house track called 'En Mass' as part of the Orange/Chemical Brothers promotion.

Peace to all who made it to Offbeat on the 28th Aug.
One of Spain's finest and a true gentleman, Mr Karma Sound from Lugo brought dope beats, turntablism and panache alongside Lirica Soul, Mossy Moss and a true blues future great, Mr Marcus Bonfante.
It was an honour to be involved and I look forward to performing out in Lugo, Spain in the future.

As i proceed...a very big special thanks to those who made it down to Offbeat on the 24th July.
Gavin(CDR), Ruckerson & co, Ze' Roberto, The Madu Brothers(Uzo & Az), The Lambert Brothers(Alex & Matt), Natasha Liati-Jones & co, Dave & Bev, George and everyone else who made it a special night.
A big thank you and so long to Chris the percussionist who's gone off to Norway, but we hope will come back and see us soon and a superhero 'pow' to Moss & Afriaka.

As i say goodbye to a beloved friend and wish him well on his journey, i embrace all friends old and new plus projects that i have kept me fairly busy.
One of these projects is a track called 'Maybe We Energise' for The Many Worlds of Jonas Moore www.jonasmoore.com
The synopsis runs thus...
The Many Worlds of Jonas Moore is a trilogy set in a time where the British Empire has never ended and America is just a virtual world hosted on a vast global game network.
Jonas Moore, a character personally created by the network's founder, is thrown into a world where characters, creatures and monsters are all slaves to the gamers from the real world.
Emeson dons his artistic hat to compose and perform the track 'Maybe We Energise' set to his video mash up of Jonas Moore stills, clips and images.(YouTube)

For those of you who may or may not know him, our dear friend Ken Anto -Awuakye is seriously ill in hospital with what has transpired to be a rare lung condition.
Originally thinking that he had the flu and a cough, he has now been in the hospital for several weeks and is now on a ventilating machine with his condition deteriorating.
I would very much appreciate it, as i'm sure his family and friends will, if you could offer up a prayer and a goodwill thought or message for him during your day and wish him a speedy recovery, as we all do.

UPDATE
Hello All,
After fighting the good fight and battling so hard against a lung condition known as acute interstitial pneumonitis, my dear friend Kenneth Anto - Awuakye sadly passed away at 4.00 am this morning.
He was an amazing friend, brother, son and uncle and his spirit will be around us forever. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of you for your incredible support, messages and thoughts. I'm so thankful i was able to convey them to Ken and i will be eternally grateful for that.
We have lost a true soul brother, but we were so honoured to know him and will continue to carry his memory and light and for those moments, i know we've been blessed.
Sincere condolences go out to the Anto - Awuakye family at this time.

First off..sadly i couldn't be at the May Offbeat gig due to illness, but i'm on the mend : - ) and will be appearing at Offbeat on June 5th.Big thanks to Afriaka for standing in for me at the last moment-God bless.
Due to the forthcoming release of Equilibrium this year, we have decided to allow the free download of 'audiocentricities' the album, for a period of time (the length of which we haven't yet decided..lol)
It's currently available at selected sites such as Soundclick and musicfreedom.com.

As we proceed....first off, welcome to April and i'm late..big apologies!
Late nights, early mornings..but it's all for the greater good, i swear..lol
The 'equilibrium' material is coming along as best as possible, mental blockage non-withstanding!
In the meantime, i'll be making an appearance and performing on the 1st May - Offbeat@The Istanbul Bar,100 Cleveland Street,London W1T6NS (nearest tube stations - Great Portland St and Warren St).
Alongside some extraordinary, interplanetary, free thinking musos,it's an honour and a pleasure! There'll be a couple of unheard tracks from the 'equilibrium' set(release date - tbc) and maybe something from 'Audiocentricities'

March sees me in Lab Soulphonica working on tracks for the next set(working title - Equilibrium)which all things being equal will be out in the summer.

Big respect to all the artists at Erik's night(Offbeat) in the Istanbul Bar, a couple of weeks ago.

An extra special mention and thanks to ruckerson, kendo, uzo, chidi and my Eastern Bloc connection(Monika, Andrea & Eva).
I'm back again at Sketch on the 27th Feb(9pm-2am and so free), so if you missed the last one, all peace offerings are welcome and if you were at the last one then i guess you've already got the keys to the falcon...
As previously mentioned(at phase stage), Mariu's La Bella Simpleza de la Vida (Beauty Simplicity of Life) is now complete and you can hear Mariu wax poetic on life, love and simple situations.
She's a brand new spark to add to the light, so please drop by her myspace page and say hi.

Welcome to a whole new chapter, a brand new year and hopefully a clearer vision for all.Time to put right the regrets and if we can't then let's try to remember to forget.The past remains unchangeable in our time continium, the future's yet to meet us, so embrace the 'present' as a gift.
Onwards and upwards...There's a brand new night called 'niche' starting in The Parlour@Sketch on Feb 6th 2007 where i will be playing & dj'ing sounds from across the galaxy - retro boogie, my boogie, future shimmy, your shimmy, electronica, funk, soul, jazz, fusion and whatever takes my fancy...but here's the blurb courtesy of Mr Ruckerson.
